Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Gray Court, SC facility on second shift. This role involves unloading/loading waste streams, operating forklifts with attachments, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in all tasks.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years shipping/warehouse experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. High school diploma or GED is preferred, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of shipping, receiving and warehouse experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to operate forklift/heavy equipment.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Pushing/Pulling, use of power tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and move materials in a safe, efficient manner.
• Unload and load wastes in compliance with company, state, and federal rules.
• Perform daily PM and inspections on equipment.
• Monitor equipment and report issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with sample collection and material handling as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and adhere to PPE requirements.
