Summary Of Position
They are responsible for the day-to-day repair and maintenance of diesel & propane hydraulic forklift equipment. Warehouse maintenance and minor repair including electric, plumbing, air condition, etc. Welding and cutting experience is a plus.
- Perform daily repairs on diesel & propane forklifts.
- Perform daily repairs on warehouse equipment dock levelers, roll-up doors, etc.
- Performs preventive maintenance procedures on forklifts, including inspections, oil changes, lube grease fittings, grease bearings, seals, filter replacement, brake services, etc.
- Procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- May assist in performing minor and major building and equipment repairs.
- Assist the supervisor in developing procedures and implementing new procedures.
- Informs the supervisor of unsafe situations for the team.
- Leads by example in demonstrating proper maintenance procedures.
- Works on miscellaneous projects as needed.
- Able to function independently, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate initiative and tact in handling all the above responsibilities.
- Adhering to the Company’s safety policies and procedures, those set out by OSHA.
- Anticipated percentage of travel - 0%-5%.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Skilled in all types of building and equipment repair such as, (electrical, hydraulics, refrigeration, etc.)
- Hyster, Taylor, and Caterpillar forklift experience is a plus.
- Intermediate skill level in Word and Excel.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Ability to regularly stand, walk long distances, and talk and hear.
- Ability to frequently use hands and arms to grab, handle or feel, and reach.
- Ability to occasionally sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl.
- Ability to occasionally climb ladders or stairs.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds, with assistance or lifting machinery as necessary.
- Must wear Seaonus required safety PPE, Safety vest, hard hat, gloves, etc.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Working indoors and outdoors.
- Excessive heat or cold, extreme weather conditions, excessive humidity or dampness or chilling.
- Slippery and uneven walking surfaces.
- Working around machinery with moving parts.
- Working around moving objects, vehicles, and moving machinery/heavy equipment.
1st Shift 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday
OT/Weekends and Holidays as needed
