Job summary

Southeastern Equipment is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician to diagnose and repair equipment in the field, for both company-owned and customer-owned machines. You will complete repairs, stay current with manufacturer updates, and operate safely on various job sites.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a CDL. The company offers competitive pay starting at $33 per hour, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma or higher, plus 2 years of diesel/automotive/heavy equipment tech training or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years working on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain a CDL if required; insurable driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screen; authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance on equipment per manufacturer standards.
• Stay up to date on certifications, training, and dealer updates.
• Perform diagnostics using laptops and other tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at shop and customer sites.
• Operate heavy equipment and trucks safely; communicate with customers effectively.
