Mechanics Hub is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician – Heavy Equipment in Aberdeen, MD to service forklifts, cranes, lift gates, hoists, and related systems at customer sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repair experience, with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Must be able to travel regionally and pass background checks, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repair experience.
• Experience repairing heavy equipment including mounted systems or similar machinery.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to perform 100% field service work and support customer-site repairs in Aberdeen, MD and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts, knuckle boom cranes, loaders, lift gates, hoists, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective repairs, upgrades, and refurbishment in a field service environment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using procedures, diagnostic tools, and hands-on repair skills.
• Complete service records, daily reports, and updates using company systems.
• Follow safe work practices and communicate repair opportunities or follow-up needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
