EquipmentShare is hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) for our Camp Hill, PA location. You will maintain and repair a variety of heavy equipment and aerial lifts, using real-time data to diagnose issues and plan corrective actions. The role includes on-call duties with overtime and a path to ongoing OEM training.

Qualifications

• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders using our tech platform.
• Track machine service intervals and order parts.
• Diagnose issues quickly by pulling data from multiple makes/models.
• Determine root cause and corrective action for each issue.
• Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Assist in training of lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders).
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance when required.
• Year-round OEM training provided.
• Other duties as assigned.
