Environmental Products Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced heavy equipment service technician to join our local service team.

You will perform pre-delivery checks, inspections, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, PTO and transfer case service, and advanced diagnostics using CANBUS systems on equipment like Elgin Street Sweepers, Witke, Labrie, Leach solid waste gear, Vactor Series & Ramject trucks, Peterson grapples, and Truvac rolloffs.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on mechanical experience, preferably with heavy equipment.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Confidence using computers (email, Excel, Word).
• CDK experience preferred.
• A high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-delivery and DOT inspections.
• Carry out hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, PTO and transfer case service.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics using truck CANBUS systems.
• Work on equipment including Elgin Street Sweepers, Witke/Labrie/Leach solid waste equipment, Vactor Series & Ramject trucks, Peterson grapples, Truvac rolloffs.
