Job summary

National Equipment Dealers, LLC in Clayton, NC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service off-road heavy equipment. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment and show proficiency in diagnostics, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Cummins certification preferred but not required for entry; hands-on diagnostic skills are essential.
• Ability to read schematics and perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, testing, start-ups, and inspection of low to high-voltage electrical systems.
• Diagnose fault codes and perform necessary repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Keep detailed records for asset management and work orders.
• Record and track time worked; document repair process with photos/videos.
• Assist service manager with additional duties as needed.
