Lincoln Tech is seeking Diesel Technicians and recent post-secondary graduates in the DFW area to join our Republic Services Custom Training program as Diesel Technician Supplemental Instructors. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality instruction, motivate students, and support their career preparation in the diesel industry. Responsibilities of a Diesel Technician Supplemental Instructor

• Provide class coverage when needed
• Assist instructors in organizing and delivering training objectives
• Help communicate and enforce school policies and procedures
• Offer academic support, tutoring, and skills development to students
• Assist in training curriculum development
• Participate in curriculum review processes as required
• Visit externship/internship/clinical sites and complete documentation
• Manage class equipment and inventory controls

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years experience servicing and maintaining Class 8 vehicles or recent graduation from a post-secondary program with good grades and attendance
• OEM or equivalent industry training
• ASE certifications (T4, T5, T6, T8) preferred, or willingness to obtain them
• Proficiency in vehicle maintenance documentation
• Ability to read electrical schematics and flow charts
• EPA 609 certification
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• High school diploma or GED
