Job summary

Suncore Construction & Materials in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our construction equipment fleet. You will perform routine engine maintenance and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to keep excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks operating smoothly.

The role requires attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid diesel mechanic certification or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Ability to read manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Certified diesel mechanic or equivalent experience; construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines (oil changes, filters, fluids).
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks.
Inspect parts for wear and replace as needed.
Troubleshoot engine fault codes with diagnostic equipment.
