Walinga USA in Wayland, MI is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble various customer-specific components and systems on agricultural bulk feed trailers, using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to ensure quality and reliability.

No prior professional experience is required as on-the-job training is provided. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints while complying with

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a field related to mechanical, maintenance, or similar is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist and meet physical demands of job.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and installation of mechanical and electrical components according to engineering specifications
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to assemble, adjust, and test components such as augers, junction boxes, hydraulic control valves and motors in addition to pneumatic air lines and valves
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions in the assembly process
• Collaborate with other team members to improve assembly processes and product quality
