Sherman Reilly Inc. is seeking anassembler to contribute to production, assembly and test of its machinery. The role involves assembling components into finished units per BOM, reading blueprints, wiring and basic testing with supervision.
The position requires basic math, reading skills and adherence to safety practices. Employees will participate in crane and rope winding tasks when needed, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Summary: Responsible for the production, assembly and test required to produce all products including but not limited to Puller-Tensioner machines, overhead, underground, distribution, transmission and/or any other class of equipment manufactured as standard products & custom equipment.
Sherman + Reilly is paying a $1,000 signing bonus. $500 will be paid after successful completion of 90 days and $500 will be paid after successful completion of 180 days.

High school diploma or general education degree
6 months’ experience in manufacturing environment
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Perform basic mathematical calculations at a high school level. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving root cause and corrective action analysis.
