JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing instructional services in the area of Heavy Equipment Operator. Conducts theoretical and technical training classes for commercial vehicles, providing theory, simulations, and practical applications for classes in heavy equipment (dozers, excavators, etc.). Partners with Business and Industry to promote the Heavy Equipment Operator program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Instructional/Teaching Performance: Utilize innovative, effective, and equitable teaching techniques; follow course syllabi and outlines; provide hands-on training in advanced applications; maintain student discipline; receive favorable student evaluations. Program Coordination/Instructional Development: Develop curriculum guides, course syllabi, and outlines. Program/Instructional Management: Maintain an active advisory committee and student records. Student Guidance/Advising Activities: Provide career counseling and academic advising.
