Wieland North America, Inc. in East Alton, IL is seeking a Heavy End Rolling Production Coordinator to provide key leadership within the manufacturing plant.

This on-site role supports the Lead Supervisor and reports to the Operations Manager for the Heavy End Rolling Department, helping meet safety, quality, culture and productivity objectives. The position offers a base salary range of $112,000–$124,000 per year, with potential bonus eligibility based on company performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years’ leadership experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Ability to lead and guide staff and foster teamwork.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, safety and process management.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic and data driven.
• Clear written and verbal communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety-first culture and lead safety improvement initiatives.
• Promote Wieland core values and healthy cultural development.
• Maximize near-term asset utilization and prepare for future facility.
• Develop and execute standard work procedures and continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop production team members.
• Manage inventory and readiness of tooling and parts.
• Coordinate maintenance outages, stock takes and training.
• Provide front-line coverage for Production Supervisor vacancies.
• Support Lead Supervisor and Operations Manager with tasks.
