Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for our East Alton, IL facility to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure safety, and maintain quality.

You will partner with department and operations managers to meet production goals while upholding Wieland's values and leadership standards. This role requires a Bachelor's degree preferred and 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant, with strong leadership, communication, and data-driven decision making to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience working in a supervisor capacity in a manufacturing plant is preferred.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations to achieve safety, production, and quality goals.
• Drive the Safety-First Culture; lead safety improvement initiatives to zero OSHA injuries.
• Coordinate work schedules and coverage to ensure resources for a smooth operation.
• Develop and implement standard work procedures and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop production staff through training.
• Communicate cross-functionally with internal teams to coordinate safety, quality, production, and maintenance.
