Dart Network in Dayton, OH is seeking a full-time heavy-duty truck mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet, focusing on electrical and braking systems.

You will perform air brakes diagnostics and repairs, service trailers, and document repairs on each order while complying with DOT, state and company standards. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; 2–5 years of heavy-duty truck experience and a valid driver's license are required. Overtime, holidays, and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of mechanic experience on heavy-duty trucks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks, including electrical and brakes.
• Air brakes diagnostics and repairs.
• Diagnosing, repairing, or replacing electrical and air systems on trailers; body and rail repairs.
• Write itemized 'story' to summarize each repair performed.
• Follow all DOT, State & Federal requirements and company standards.
• Use effective interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Good mechanical aptitude and work ethic needed.
• Contribute to the goals of the shop, leadership team and company.
• Properly clocks on and off applicable repair orders and repair segments.
