Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking an experienced truck technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body components on heavy- and light-duty trucks. This role may involve gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems, plus welding and fabrication.

You will diagnose mechanical issues, perform repairs, and review DVIRs to ensure safe, productive operations. A strong emphasis on safety, timely paperwork, and professional ethics is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Suspension Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Knowledge of Brake System Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Knowledge of Electrical System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Proficient in the use of Diagnostic tools with the ability to interpret and make repairs from Service Manuals.
• Ability to complete work within Suggested Repair Times (SRTs) and estimate time/materials.
• Knowledge to provide assistance and guidance to Assistant Technicians and Shop Helpers.
• CDL Class B (preferred within 12 months)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues and repair trucks to maximize safety and productivity.
• Review DVIRs and repair orders and complete work.
• Communicate with managers/drivers about vehicle issues and preventive techniques.
• Complete required paperwork promptly.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Keep a clean, safe work area.
• Use vehicle computer systems to interpret failures.
• Perform safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Repair using Factory Service Manuals.
• Maintain high ethics and dependability.
