Job summary

Tenco Industries, Inc., a member of Alamo Group Inc., is seeking a full-time Heavy Duty Truck Installer in Lakeville, NY. The role includes layout, fitting, welding, and assembling components for dump bodies, tilt fronts, and related equipment.

Responsibilities cover operating hand and power tools, following electrical and hydraulic wiring specs, and performing assigned tasks under supervision. Steel-toed boots and safety gear are required; overtime may be needed to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shop math.
• Knowledge of basic voltage and amperage is a plus.
• Able to use hand and power tools (grinders, deburring equipment).
• Able to perform standard measurements.
• Able to operate a manual crane hoist, forklift and hand truck.
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to wear personal protective equipment.
• Able to work overtime and/or weekends as production schedules dictate.

Responsibilities

• Layout (plan) position, align and fit components together.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts to secure in position.
• Set up equipment and weld parts for mounting tilt fronts, dump bodies, etc.
• Perform one of several functions: welding, assembling, electrical, hydraulics, or cab controls as instructed.
