Palmer Trucks is seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Installer and Fabrication Technician to install truck equipment components such as dump bodies, snowplows, hydraulic pumps, and tarp systems. The role involves routing air and hydraulic lines and fabricating parts for medium and heavy-duty trucks, with focus on safe, high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include welding, basic electrical work, tool usage, troubleshooting, and precise recording of repair orders.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience is required.
• Basic electrical knowledge is required.
• Familiarity with using basic hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Accurate recording of repair orders and time.

Responsibilities

• Install truck equipment components (dump bodies, plows, tarps).
• Route air and hydraulic lines for equipment operation.
• Fabricate and assemble parts for medium/heavy trucks.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Complete quality checks and Safe workspace practices.
