Job summary

Tenco Industries, Lakeville NY is seeking a Heavy Duty Truck Installer to lay out, align and fit fabricated parts, electrical components and hydraulic attachments according to specifications. The role requires fabricating and welding metal components as part of the install process.

You will work under moderate supervision in a non-climate controlled shop, perform welding, assembly, electrical or hydraulics tasks, and support the truck build operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shop math and basic measurements.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and test equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as production schedules dictate.
• High school diploma or GED, technical trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Layout (plan) and align components.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts to secure in position.
• Set up equipment and weld parts for mounting fronts and dump bodies.
• Install electrical components and wiring following schematics and blueprints.
• Assist with hydraulics installation and cab controls.
