Job summary

HP Fairfield, a member of the Alamo Group family, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Installer in Hopkinton, NH. This full-time, first-shift (10-hour days, Monday–Thursday) role involves installing and mounting tilt fronts, dump bodies, hydraulic hoses and tanks per specifications and blueprints, using drills, welders, torches, band saws and related tools under close supervision.

Qualifications

High School Diploma preferred.
At least 6 months related experience.
Basic welding and fabrication skills.
Ability to read safety rules and blueprints.
Willingness to work in a metal manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Lay out, position, align and fit components.
Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position.
Set up equipment and weld parts for mounting tilt fronts, dump bodies, etc.
Install electrical equipment on plow trucks and dump trucks including running wires and mounting components, following schematics.
Install hydraulics on equipment according to blueprints.
Assist with installation of equipment in truck cabs as necessary.
Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required by the Installation Team Leader.
