Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth is seeking a Body Shop Technician / Mechanic to join our team in Federal Way, WA. You will perform mechanical and body work on heavy-duty trucks, including prep, body repairs, part replacement, and installs with a supportive shop team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience performing mechanical and body repairs on diesel trucks.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiar with federal, state, and local body shop regulations (OSHA Right-to-Know).
• Axalta certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and body work on medium and heavy-duty trucks (Class 6 & 8).
• Carry out pre/post repair washes, bodywork, part replacement, and installs on new trucks.
• Collaborate with other technicians in a well-supported body shop environment.

Skills

5+ years experience

Self-motivation

Ability to work with little supervisor

CDL preferred

OSHA/Regulations knowledge
