Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth – Federal Way is seeking a Body Shop Technician / Mechanic to join our team. You will perform mechanical and body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6 & 8 trucks, including pre/post repair washes, bodywork, parts replacement, and installations on new trucks.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience performing mechanical and body repairs on all makes and models of diesel trucks.
• Self-motivation.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record. A CDL is preferred but not required.
• Must understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, and OSHA Right-to-Know.
• Axalta certification is a plus!
• Having your own tools is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Body Shop Technician /Mechanic, you will perform mechanical and body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6 & 8 trucks, including performing pre/post repair washes, bodywork, replacement of parts, installs on new trucks, and other repairs as assigned. Compensation:

$32-38/hr (Depending on Experience)
