Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Duty Trailer Technician in Troutdale, OR. The role is full-time and requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trailers including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.

You will perform inspections, welds, and body repairs while documenting work and labor hours meticulously. Applicants should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a heavy-duty trailer mechanic.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record may be required by location.
• Pass a criminal history background screen.
• Ability to lift and install heavy parts such as brake drums, tires, flywheels, clutches, starters, and suspension components.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain all parts on heavy-duty trailers and dollies.
• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Repair air brake systems, ABS, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Weld and fabricate using steel, stainless, and aluminum.
• Repair body components and replace doors and panels as needed.
• Document all repairs and labor hours accurately in maintenance software.
