Qualifications

• 1 to 5+ years of hands-on mechanical experience with heavy-duty trailers or trucks.
• Proficiency reading electrical and air system schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine safety checks and scheduled maintenance on brakes, suspension, axles, and landing gear.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, ABS, air lines, and hydraulics.
• Repair or replace flooring, rub rails, body panels, roofs, and doors using MIG/Stick welding.
• Document DOT inspections, parts used, and repair hours in the shop management system.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized workspace per OSHA and company safety guidelines.
