Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers in Byron, GA is seeking an entry level technician to start a career in heavy-duty repair. Learn hands-on in our Service Center while performing preventative maintenance on class 5–8 trucks and RVs per OEM and company guidelines.

You will diagnose and repair truck systems with hand and power tools, prepare vehicles for delivery, keep work areas clean, and participate in on-site training to become Systems Certified in Cascadia, M-2, Western Star, and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Basic math and algebra skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn and follow OEM guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on class 5–8 trucks.
• Diagnose and repair truck systems with hand and power tools.
• Test drive trucks to verify repairs.
• Maintain shop area and equipment.
• Complete time punches and work orders.
• Participate in training to become certified in systems.
