Job summary

Penn Power Group, LLC is seeking a Carrier Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration units for commercial trucks, trailers, and large equipment. You will work on heavy-duty refrigeration systems to ensure performance and reliability, keeping temperature-sensitive goods safe.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining detailed service records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty refrigeration repair or maintenance.
• Deep knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems and mechanical components.
• EPA Section 608 Certification is required for handling refrigerants.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair refrigeration units on heavy-duty tractors, trailers and equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot refrigeration units and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections.
• Recharge refrigerants and replace compressors, condensers and evaporators.
• Complete repair orders and ensure accurate labor and parts charging.
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with safety standards.
