Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Director of the PMO – Heavy Duty to lead the Heavy Duty PMO, coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives with measurable outcomes.

Based at our corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Comar, PA) in a hybrid role, onsite three days per week, this position requires executive presence to drive execution across product, operations, supply chain, IT, finance, sales and HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project, program, or operations leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.
• Prior PMO leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, automotive, or industrial environments preferred.
• PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Physical capability to lift 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Heavy Duty PMO, including project intake, prioritization, governance, and delivery standards.
• Define and maintain PMO processes, tools, templates, and reporting aligned with operating model.
• Partner with HD leadership to translate strategic objectives into executable initiatives and roadmaps.
• Ensure consistent project discipline, accountability, and visibility across all HD initiatives.
• Own the Heavy Duty project and program portfolio, including strategic growth initiatives, operational improvements, system implementations, and cross‑divisional efforts.
• Lead or oversee high‑impact, complex initiatives requiring executive coordination.
• Monitor project health (scope, timeline, budget, risk) and propose solutions.
• Ensure initiatives deliver defined business outcomes (revenue growth, margin improvement, service levels, cost savings).
• Partner with Finance to align investments with budget and forecast.
• Optimize resource allocation across initiatives to maximize business impact.
