Job summary

FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. Kane area is seeking a Heavy-duty Parts Specialist (Back Counter/Service) to provide accurate, first-class assistance to Technicians and Service Advisors in person and by telephone.

The role requires strong verbal and writing skills, familiarity with the automotive/heavy-duty industry, and the ability to communicate effectively to satisfy all needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post secondary education or coursework desired.
• Parts provisioning experience in automotive repair environment.
• Strong computer and internet skills across multiple platforms.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Order parts with local parts dealers and OEM Dealerships.
• Attend to all service technicians and service advisors' parts work orders.
• Provide clear ETA and information for special-order parts.
• Ensure special orders are promptly received and notify customers accordingly.
• Secure return parts, tag and sort, and return to source.
