Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a customer-focused sales counter associate to assist customers with heavy‑duty truck and trailer parts. You will help locate and price parts, process credits, and handle special orders while ensuring accurate recommendations and excellent service.

Position requires a high school diploma, basic Windows XP tools, and 2+ years in sales. You will work in a fast-paced environment with standard counter duties and inventory upkeep.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in sales; heavy-duty parts sales preferred.
• Strong listening and communication skills; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Help determine and obtain heavy duty parts for customers by phone or in person.
• Locate and obtain ordered parts from central warehouse or branch.
• Determine sales price for customers per company procedure.
• Handle warranty or defective parts per procedure.
• Process approved credits for returns and manage credits.
• Special order parts on an emergency basis when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of pricing lists and structures.
• Provide catalog information and answer product questions.
• Keep counter area clean and display areas sales-friendly.
