Job summary

FleetPride, the leading after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S., seeks a customer-focused sales associate. You will help customers by phone or in person, sourcing parts and quoting prices to meet identified needs and maintain profitability.

Responsibilities include locating parts, handling warranties, processing credits, advising on related items, and keeping the counter area organized to optimize sales while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic Windows XP knowledge; Excel, Word, Outlook familiarity.
• Strong listening and communication skills with customers.
• Time management and sales-oriented attitude.
• Customer service mindset with ability to persuade customers.

Responsibilities

• Help determine and obtain heavy-duty parts for customers by phone or in person; suggest related parts.
• Locate and obtain ordered parts from central warehouse or branch.
• Determine sales price for customers per company procedures.
• Handle warranty or defective parts per policy.
• Process approved credits for returns; maintain pricing confidentiality.
• Answer questions about products, prices, availability, and features.
• Keep counter area clean and display areas ready to drive sales.
