Job summary

Colville, Inc. seeks a Mechanic II to maintain and repair a fleet of light and heavy‑duty vehicles in Valdez, AK. You will perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs while adhering to safety and DOT standards in challenging arctic conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Diesel/heavy-duty mechanic experience or formal training.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to work in Arctic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on light and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and DOT annual inspections.
• Respond to in-field service calls for damaged equipment.
• Operate welding and cutting tools for repair and fabrication.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Lead by example in safety and teamwork.
