Job summary

Cruz Construction, Inc. seeks Heavy Duty Mechanics for a FIFO role at Prudhoe Bay, AK. You will repair, maintain, and service heavy construction equipment used on active sites, often under extreme cold. Accommodations are provided, and safety is mandatory.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent with experience in equipment maintenance; a valid state driver license is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in harsh, arctic conditions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with repair and maintenance of construction equipment, machinery and tools.
  • One year of job related experience.
  • Valid state driver license.
  • Ability to perform strenuous manual labor and lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and arctic temperatures.
  • Ability to read and follow assembly and instruction manuals.
  • Knowledge of and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to assess and troubleshoot equipment failure.
  • Ability to wear protective clothing.

  • Repair, adjust, service and maintain construction equipment and machinery used on projects.
  • Operate and diagnose equipment in arctic conditions.

Heavy Duty Mechanics are needed for Cruz Construction, Inc. in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.
