Job summary

Energy Job Shop in Alaska is seeking General Maintenance Technicians for our Prudhoe Bay camp on the North Slope. You will maintain and repair equipment across a remote, rotational worksite, following safety procedures.

Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of industrial maintenance, and a valid license in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry. A valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment tests are also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Minimum five (5) years industrial maintenance experience.
• Valid license in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work long shifts.
• Experience interpreting blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a wide range of equipment in a remote, rotational environment.
• Operate with safety and compliance in a camp setting.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot issues.
• Utilize CMMS and Microsoft Office for maintenance records.

This company is seeking General Maintenance Technicians for their Prudhoe Bay camp facility on the North Slope. The role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment in a remote, rotational environment.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum five (5) years industrial maintenance experience (training may be substituted on a case by case basis)
• License in one of: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry
• Valid driver license meeting insurance criteria
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS)
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly
• Pass pre-hire drug test, breath alcohol test, occupational fitness test, background check, and computer-based testing
• Ability to work 11.5 hour shifts for a minimum of 21 consecutive days as required
