Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.
• Experience with precision tooling and measuring tools.
• Use of hand tools and powered tools in assembly.
• Ability to work with safety harness at various heights.
• Must obtain forklift and overhead crane certification.
• Work well under pressure and stay self-motivated.
• Follow standard work documents and handle heavy parts per standards.
• Capable of working with solvents; respirator certification is required.
• Experience with hydraulic tooling and heat/cold assembly.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignment, drawings, and verbal instructions.
• Assemble engine assemblies to drawing specifications.
• Fabricate sub-assemblies like crankshafts, blocks, and cams.
• Fit piping/tubing and assemble controls to engine components.
• Maintain tolerances by fitting and aligning parts.
• Disassemble and reassemble during wear-in and testing.
• Handle parts up to 75 pounds; use hoist or crane as needed.
