Job summary

Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) in Ridgewood, NJ is looking for a committed heavy duty EVS/Janitor to maintain clean and safe common areas. Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 3:00pm-11:30pm. Pay: $18.00/hour. The ideal candidate can lift up to 55+ lbs and work well in a team or independently.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, emptying trash, and assisting with supply orders. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Experience with cleaning products and cleaning equipment for floors and carpets.
• Able to work in a team and independently when needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Dusting and polishing surfaces throughout the building.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash and cleaning windows.
• Requesting supply orders and reporting breakages or repairs.
