Job summary

Pinnacle Building Services, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Duty EVS Medical Housekeeping team member for Friday–Sunday shifts in Ridgewood, NJ.

You will sweep, mop, vacuum, follow safety policies, report issues, and help keep all areas clean. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, read and understand English, and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be able to move heavy equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to work without direct supervision.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Uniform shirts are provided and must be worn during work hours.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, and/or vacuums all floors daily.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies.
• Completes any reports or logs.
• Reports equipment malfunctions, injuries, and accidents to the supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Cleans, details, and refills supplies for all assigned areas of the facility as needed, including common areas, offices.
• Collects trash and recyclables from trash rooms. Transports and disposes into dumpsters.
• Performs janitorial work to ensure the cleanliness of all areas, such as removing litter from public areas and emptying trash.

Heavy Duty EVS Medical Housekeeping

Schedule: Friday - Sunday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Location: Ridgewood, New Jersey

Pay: $18 per hour

Summary

Also, our project service division provides professional ceramic, stone, along with carpet and hard floor care service.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Sweeps, mops, and/or vacuums all floors daily.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies.
• Completes any reports or logs.
• Reports equipment malfunctions, injuries, and accidents to the supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Cleans, details, and refills supplies for all assigned areas of the facility as needed, including common areas, offices.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is highly preferred but not mandatory
• Required to move heavy equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. frequently
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Uniform shirts are provided and must be worn during work hours.
• Able to follow spoken and written instructions
• Able to work without direct supervision
• Able to sit, reach, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
• Ascending/descending stairs and ladders regularly required
• Reliable, highly organized, attentive to detail, courteous, friendly, hardworking and professional
• Able to multi-task work, perform well under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English

-Pre-employment medical training
