Ryder System, Inc. in Panama City, FL is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to join our team. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

You will perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, utilize state-of-the-art diagnostics, and follow a structured schedule (Tue–Sat, 8:00 am–4:30 pm). Eligible for bonuses and tuition repayment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
• Two years or more of related training/experience preferred.
• CDL class A preferred (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Performs preventive maintenance and routine services.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, and company policies.
