Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) in Orlando, FL is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to tackle diagnostics, service, and repair of Class 6–8 heavy trucks.
You’ll work with advanced diagnostic software, perform chassis, powertrain, and emissions repairs, and document work performed. A CDL is a plus; strong safety mindset and hands-on experience are essential for success in our shop.
Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is a 30+ year industry leader with 40+ locations, 2,600 employees, and a 10,000+ unit fleet serving utility, telecom, rail, and construction markets.
You arrive to a well-equipped shop and open a work order on a Class 8 truck throwing intermittent codes. You connect advanced diagnostic software, isolate a 24V wiring fault, and restore a clean signal to the ECM. Next up: rebuilding a steer axle hub and adjusting the braking system on a vocational chassis. After lunch, you pull an EGR cooler for inspection, verify valve operation, and document an emissions repair. You finish the day installing a PTO gearbox and confirming hydraulic pump output to a winch system—leaving the unit ready for service.
CTOS offers competitive pay based on skills and experience, paid vacation, sick, and holidays, 401k match, healthcare, dental, vison, prescription insurance, uniforms, boot allowance, ongoing training and more.
