Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to own full-cycle maintenance and repair on Class 6-8 trucks, both in the shop and in the field. You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild a range of systems using OEM and aftermarket tools, ensuring safety and reliability for critical fleets.
You bring hands-on diesel experience, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a safety-first mindset; technical school or military mechanical training is encouraged.
Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) has spent three decades building a nationwide service network: 40+ locations, 2,600 teammates, and a 10,000+ unit fleet serving utility, telecom, rail, and construction. We're adding a skilled technician who can own full-cycle maintenance and repair on commercial trucks and heavy equipment—both in the shop and in the field.
You'll start your day reviewing service tickets, prepping parts, and planning both shop jobs and mobile calls. One hour you're isolating an intermittent 24V electrical fault; the next, you're rebuilding a brake system or setting up a PTO to drive a hydraulic pump. You'll lean on advanced diagnostic software to get fast, accurate answers and return assets to service safely and efficiently.
Diesel engine systems (including light vehicle diesels), heavy equipment systems, hydraulic components, and advanced equipment troubleshooting.
Competitive pay tied to your skills and experience, plus paid vacation, sick time, and holidays, 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision/prescription coverage, uniforms, boot allowance, ongoing training, and more.
