Job summary

Waste Pro of Georgia in Doraville, GA is hiring Diesel Technician/Mechanic - LEVEL A with heavy duty experience. The role offers an hourly rate up to $50.00 and a $5,000 retention bonus paid in four equal installments over the first year of employment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical and hydraulic systems on fleet vehicles. CDL Class B preferred; 3–5 years of hands-on experience required.

Qualifications

• Diagnostics and repair of engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical and hydraulic systems in heavy-duty vehicles.
• Experience with diesel, gasoline, and CNG systems; welding and fabrication as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Maintain and repair Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus equipment.
• Support coworkers and promote safe, efficient shop operations.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Follow safety policies and keep work area compliant with OSHA.
