Waste Pro is seeking a Traveling Diesel Technician - Level A to support Atlanta and Hilton Head, SC operations. The role diagnoses and repairs engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension and electrical systems on heavy and light duty trucks; may include welding and fabrication.

This position requires hands-on expertise, travel as needed, and adherence to OSHA safety standards. A retention bonus up to $5,000 paid in four installments during the first year, plus CDL B preferred and ASE certs up to

Qualifikationen

• Drive Train Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair.
• General Engine Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Transmission Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Outside Repair Inspection Review.
• Assess Structural Damage and assign needed repairs.
• Provide guidance to all shop technicians.
• OSHA safety requirements knowledge; data tracking.

Aufgaben

• Diagnostics for a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Maintenance and repair of Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles and equipment.
• Support coworkers in safe, efficient maintenance and repair.
• Complete required paperwork promptly and concisely.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean work area.
