Kriete Truck Centers in Franksville, WI is seeking a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician for 2nd shift. Join a team focused on safety, training, and customer service to keep heavy trucks on the road.

We offer a $6,000 sign-on bonus, plus 401(k) with employer match, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing OEM-certified training. Your mechanical expertise will keep Class 6–8 trucks running reliably and safely.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of hands-on mechanical experience or completion of/active enrollment in an accredited diesel program required.
• Basic tool set required – specialty tools provided.
• Valid driver’s license required
• CDL not required but preferred
• Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) is a plus.

Mansioni

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air/hydraulic brakes, suspensions, clutches, and electrical systems.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software and tools to ensure accurate assessments and repairs.
• Clearly communicate findings, recommended repairs, and service updates with Service Advisors and Parts Counter Associates.
• Maintain detailed repair orders and documentation of all repairs in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Road test vehicles to confirm proper repairs when required.
• Participate in our OEM-directed training path to stay current on new technologies, repair techniques, and warranty guidelines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations (OSHA, hazardous waste disposal, etc.).
• Keep the shop area clean and organized, ensuring all tools are maintained properly.
