Kriete Truck Centers is seeking a 2nd Shift Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic in Madison, WI. This on-site role offers flexible 4x10 scheduling options and a starting pay of $27.00 per hour, plus a $6,000 sign-on bonus and shift differentials.

Responsibilities include advanced diagnostics with OEM software, full-system repairs on diesel engines and brakes, documenting repair orders, and mentoring junior technicians. CDL is valued but not required.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience or a combination of schooling and shop time.
• Proven proficiency using laptop-based diagnostic software.
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred; willingness to obtain a CDL is highly valued).
• Must own your basic tool set (Kriete provides all specialty shop tools).

Responsabilidades

• Advanced Diagnostics: Use OEM software to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Full-System Repairs: Repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspensions.
• Document Excellence: Maintain clean, detailed repair orders per warranty standards.
• Mentor: Guide entry-level technicians when needed.
