Waste Pro USA Inc. is hiring a Diesel Mechanic A (Heavy Duty Fleet Technician) in Pompano Beach, FL. Earn $35.00-$45.00 per hour with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on technical experience in medium- and heavy-duty vehicles
• OSHA safety requirements knowledge
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Ability to mentor apprentices and junior technicians

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and fleet maintenance to keep vehicles safe and reliable
• Use OEM diagnostic software and onboard systems to identify issues and perform repairs
• Complete repairs per manufacturer specs and Waste Pro standards
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians; document repairs and inspections accurately
• Support road calls and emergency repairs to minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper tool care
