Become a Diesel Technician at Truck Centers, Inc. – Where Innovation Meets Expertise!

We are expanding and seeking talented Service Technicians and Certified Diesel Mechanics of all experience levels to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a vital part of our Service department, working in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with top-tier specialty tools, helping our customers get back on the road safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform high-quality repairs following OEM, warranty, and dealership standards.
  • Read repair orders, listen to vehicle operations, and conduct diagnostics to identify issues.
  • Repair various truck systems, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, HVAC, electronics, and more.
  • Maintain detailed records of diagnostics, repairs, and work completed using Service Notes for effective communication and warranty processing.
  • Coordinate with Parts department to source correct parts and keep the Service team updated on job status.
  • Conduct quality checks on all repairs to ensure top performance.
  • Road test vehicles to verify repairs and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License meeting insurance requirements
  • Class B CDL with air brake endorsement; Class A CDL preferred
  • Certificate from a diesel tech training school or at least 4 years of medium- or heavy-duty truck service experience, including military background
  • Strong mechanical skills and dedication to quality work
  • Welding and fabrication skills are advantageous
  • Own tools required; TCI provides specialty and OEM tools for communal use
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screening
