Qualifications

  • 1+ years prior experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
  • Must provide own basic tools.
  • Ability to pass background, drug, and physical tests.

  • Changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating various vehicles and machinery.

Clean Harbors Eagan, MN is looking for a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to join their safety-conscious team! This position will be responsible for the repairs and preventative maintenance of all company-owned fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Moving company equipment safely on yard as needed;
  • Assisting drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues;
  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment;
  • Performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment, vehicles, and machinery;
  • Completing daily checklists as required;
  • Ensuring that equipment is properly parked/secured in compliance with facility permit and DOT requirements;
  • Maintaining facility cleanliness through housekeeping duties;
  • Performing other duties and tasks as assigned by management and based on the needs of the business.
