We currently have an opening for a swing-shift Mechanic in Anchorage, Alaska. This full-time role offers family-friendly benefits, a competitive pay package, growth opportunities, and ample overtime.

Competenze

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to travel for short periods and work in outside weather conditions.
• Work near moving mechanical parts; exposure to fumes, particles, vibration, chemicals, and humid conditions.

• Provide maintenance on heavy-duty equipment (tractors, trailers, forklifts).
• Assist with major component swaps (hydraulic pumps, engines, transmissions).
• Must be able to obtain and use a TWIC ( Transportation Workers Identification Card).

We currently have an opening for aswing-shift Mechanic in Anchorage,Alaska. This is a full-time position offering family-friendly benefits, a competitive pay package, professional growth opportunities, and ample overtime.

The hours are 4:00pm to 2:00am and include a $3.00/hr. shift differential.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide maintenance on heavy-duty equipment, ie: tractors, trailers, forklifts, etc.
• Assist with major component swaps like hydraulic pumps, engines and transmissions.
• Must be able to apply and be issued a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card).
• Perform inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, wet, and/or humid conditions and occasionally works in high, precarious places.
