Jurich Inc. is searching for an experienced and motivated Heavy Civil Utility Foreman to join our growing team. Operating throughout the Delaware Valley, we tackle complex heavy civil construction and maintenance projects across commercial, industrial, and government sectors. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 5 team members to complete tasks safely, on time, and within budget.
• Implement daily safety plans and communicate hazards to the team.
• Ensure site cleanliness and perimeter controls at all times.
• Order materials and manage worksite resources efficiently.
• Perform utility installation and maintenance, including:
  • Gravity Sanitary Sewer Installation: up to 48" mains.
  • Sewer Force Mains: up to 66".
  • Water Mains: up to 24".
  • Storm Sewer Systems: up to 48".
  • Manhole Cleaning and Repairs.
• Execute pavement installation and repair:
  • Subbase preparation, asphalt patching, concrete and sidewalk patching.
• Manage earthwork operations:
  • Grade measurements, sediment control installation, and final stabilization work (seeding/mulching).
• Oversee specialty operations, including:
  • Shoring system installation, deep excavations, pump station construction, and demolition work.
• Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment, such as saws, compressors, and trailers.
• Adhere to and enforce OSHA and safety guidelines, including confined space and trenching protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of foreman-level experience in heavy civil construction.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment, including demo saws, chain saws, air compressors, and small machinery.
• Demonstrated expertise in utility installation, pavement repair, and earthwork operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA 10/30, confined space protocols, and trenching requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate teams effectively.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and adapt to various outdoor conditions.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Availability required Monday through Friday.
• Overtime may be necessary based on project demands.

Work Location

• Delaware Valley region, with travel to project sites as needed.
