The Recruiting Hive seeks a seasoned Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead highway, road, and bridge projects in Virginia from planning through closeout. You’ll own schedule, budget, and change orders, working with field leaders, agencies, and vendors on self-performed work.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience managing heavy/highway civil construction projects is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contractual changes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage heavy highway, road, bridge, and civil infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Own schedule, budget, cost control, forecasting, change orders, documentation, and closeout.
• Protect margins with accurate cost and income projections and act on variances.
• Serve as main contact for owners, agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Lead field supervision and project engineering teams; define roles and responsibilities.
• Identify risks early and drive solutions to prevent issues.
• Maintain quality control in designs against standards and contract requirements.
• Uphold safety, quality, and production culture across the project.
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders; manage subcontractor performance.
• Run weekly project meetings and report performance to leadership.
• Submit accurate payment requisitions and escalate when needed.
