Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES/VSL is expanding its Heavy Civil division, seeking a Project Manager based in Pompano Beach, FL to lead complex civil construction projects, including bridges and post-tensioning work across the Southeast region.

You will coordinate field crews, subcontractors, estimators and sales teams, while maintaining safety, quality and project profitability. Travel 20-25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3-8 years of relevant civil construction industry experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience managing heavy civil or post-tensioned projects with structural concrete, beam erection or CFRP.
• Familiar with project management tools: MS Office, HCSS, MS Project/Primavera P6, Procore.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a dedication to safety and quality control while providing leadership to field teams.
• Plan and execute self-performed complex civil and commercial construction projects (bridges, post-tensioning, rehabilitation).
• Prepare and negotiate contracts with internal teams.
• Develop and manage schedules with field leadership and clients.
• Maintain project profit & loss, budgets, and forecasts.
